Terms of service.

1. The service

Capsule Wardrobe AI ("the service") is a web application operated by Watermelon Coctail Bar. It provides:

• Editorial guides on capsule wardrobes (free, ad-free)
• AI try-on generation (1 free per device, then a paid subscription)
• Affiliate links to retailers (Amazon and others)
• An email newsletter (opt-in)

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. By using it, you confirm you are old enough and that all information you submit is your own and accurate.

3. Your account and security

When account creation ships, you are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. AI try-on

The AI try-on feature uses a third-party generation service (Fashn.ai) to produce a photorealistic rendering of you wearing a selected garment. By using AI try-on:

• You confirm the photo you upload is your own, or you have the explicit right to upload it
• You will not upload photos of children
• You will not upload photos of real people without their permission
• You will not use the service to generate misleading, harassing, or non-consensual content
• You understand the rendered output is AI-generated and may not perfectly reflect actual fit, fabric, or color

Output ownership: you retain ownership of any try-on output generated from your own photo. We do not claim rights to your output.

5. Subscription and billing

• Free tier: 1 free AI try-on per device, no signup required, no credit card. Browsing every guide, capsule, brand and city page stays free indefinitely.
• Pro tier: $12/month, or $96/year (effectively $8/month on the annual plan), billed via Stripe. Includes 50 AI try-ons per month, three active capsules, no watermark, and any standard premium features added during the active subscription window.
• Studio tier: $24/month, or $192/year (effectively $16/month on the annual plan), billed via Stripe. Includes 200 AI try-ons per month, unlimited capsules, priority generation queue, batch try-on, and AI stylist chat.
• Cancellation: cancel any time from your account settings. The subscription stays active until the end of the paid billing period; we don't refund partial months.
• Refunds: if Pro genuinely doesn't work for you in your first 14 days, email us — we'll refund the first month, no questions asked.
• Price changes: if we ever change the Pro price, you'll get 30 days' notice via email, and you can cancel before the change takes effect at no penalty.

6. Affiliate links

Capsule Wardrobe AI is an Amazon Associate and may also participate in other affiliate programs. When you click a shopping link on the site and complete a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Our editorial recommendations are unaffected by commission rates — we recommend pieces because they belong in a capsule wardrobe, not because of payout. Every page that contains affiliate links carries a clear disclosure.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, mirror, or systematically download content (you may quote with attribution and link)
• Reverse-engineer the AI try-on system or attempt to bypass the free-tier limit
• Submit content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Resell paid Pro features to third parties
• Use automated systems (bots, AI agents you control) to interact with the service in ways that abuse capacity or cost

We may suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms. We always prefer a warning email first.

8. Intellectual property

All editorial content, brand assets, code, and design on Capsule Wardrobe AI is owned by Watermelon Coctail Bar or licensed for our use. The text and visual style of the site are not free to reuse — please link to the source rather than republish. Quotes of fewer than 25 words with a link back are always welcome.

9. Disclaimers

We provide the service "as is". We make our best effort to keep it accurate, available, and useful, but:

• The AI try-on output is an approximation, not a guarantee of how a garment fits.
• Affiliate-linked product prices, stock, and reviews change frequently; we update periodically but the retailer's live page is authoritative.
• We don't guarantee the service is error-free or available 24/7. We use Vercel (high-uptime hosting) and Cloudflare (CDN) but cannot promise zero downtime.
• Editorial recommendations are opinions, not personalised styling or financial advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Watermelon and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. If we are nonetheless found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

You can stop using the service or cancel your subscription at any time. We can terminate or suspend access if you materially violate these terms. On termination, you remain responsible for any unpaid fees for completed billing periods.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith correspondence will be subject to that jurisdiction's courts. Nothing in these terms removes statutory consumer protections you have where you live.

13. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms materially, we update the date at the top and post a notice on the site for at least 30 days, or email registered users. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
