Who we are

Capsule Wardrobe AI ("we", "us", "the service") is operated by Watermelon Coctail Bar ("Watermelon"), a private operating entity. The canonical URL of the service is https://capsulewardrobe.ai. The data controller is Watermelon. For privacy-related questions, email [email protected].

What data we collect

• Photos you upload for AI try-on. We forward the photo to our third-party AI try-on provider (Fashn.ai) for processing. We do not retain the photo on our servers after the generation completes; the provider's retention policy governs anything held on their side. We never train models on your photos.
• Account data (when accounts ship). Email address used for sign-up, optional name, password hash. No social security numbers, no government IDs, no payment-card data on our servers (handled by Stripe).
• Subscription billing data. If you subscribe to Pro, Stripe handles the card data; we receive only a customer ID and subscription status from Stripe.
• Anonymous analytics. Vercel Web Analytics records page-view counts, referrers, country, and device class. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting. Aggregate only.
• Email-list opt-ins. When you submit our email capture form, your email address goes to our newsletter provider (Resend / Loops, when wired). You can unsubscribe with one click from any email.
• Server logs. Standard request logs (IP address, user-agent, URL, timestamp, response status). Retained 30 days for security and debugging, then deleted.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.
• We don't use third-party advertising trackers (no Google Ads, no Meta pixel).
• We don't train AI models on your uploaded photos. Our try-on provider runs models that have already been trained — your image goes in, the result comes back, the image is not retained.
• We don't fingerprint your device or use cross-site cookies. Our analytics provider (Vercel) is privacy-preserving and operates without cookies for visitor tracking.
• We don't accept uploads of children's photos. The service is for users 16 years and older.

Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar)

Wherever you live, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of any personal data we hold on you.
• Request deletion of any personal data we hold on you.
• Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time (unsubscribe link).
• Object to processing, request rectification, or port your data elsewhere.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "Data request" and we will respond within 30 days.

Third-party providers we use

• Vercel — application hosting and analytics (US-based; processes request logs and aggregate analytics).
• Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and email routing (global edge; processes request data and forwards email).
• Fashn.ai — AI try-on generation (US-based; receives the photo and garment image you submit, returns the rendered output).
• Stripe — payment processing (US-based; handles subscription cards and PCI-DSS compliance directly).
• Amazon Associates — affiliate tracking on outbound shopping links (US-based; tracks click-throughs only after you click an Amazon link).

Data retention

• Try-on photos: deleted from our servers immediately after the generation completes.
• Server request logs: 30 days, then automatically deleted.
• Account and subscription data: kept while the account is active; deleted within 90 days of account closure.
• Email-list subscribers: kept until you unsubscribe.

Children's privacy

Capsule Wardrobe AI is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we update this policy materially, we update the date at the top and either email registered users or post a notice on the site for 30 days. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
