Build a wardrobe you actually wear.

Capsule Wardrobe AI is an AI-driven capsule wardrobe builder — photorealistic try-on, real shoppable garments, capsule-philosophy curation. The bet: most people's closets are 80% the wrong pieces, and AI try-on is finally good enough to fix that without the buy-and-return loop.

What we do

Three things, all in service of building a working capsule wardrobe:

  • AI try-on on every specific piece. Upload one full-body photo, see yourself wearing any garment — from the curated library, or your own URL from a retailer site. Photorealistic, ~10–25 seconds per generation, processed in-memory and discarded.
  • A curated capsule library. Real garments from real brands at every price tier, with direct links back to where you can buy them. Every piece chosen to combine with most others — the multiplicative outfit math the capsule philosophy is built on.
  • Editorial guidance.50+ guides on building a capsule for your specific lifestyle — men's, women's, demographic-specific (over-50, plus-size, postpartum, tall, short), occasion-specific (work, wedding, interview), aesthetic-specific (old money, monochrome, minimalist).

What we believe

Fewer better pieces beat more cheaper pieces. The capsule wardrobe philosophy isn't about minimalism for its own sake — it's about cost-per-wear math, decision-fatigue reduction, and the reality that most people wear 20% of their closet 80% of the time.

AI is a tool, not a replacement.Photorealistic try-on closes the longest-standing gap in online clothing buying — "will this work on my body?" — but human judgement still picks the palette, the silhouette, the brands. We use AI to accelerate decisions, not make them for you.

Honesty over hype. We'll tell you when our tool doesn't work. We'll tell you when a competing app does the job better (see our honest comparison). We'll tell you when the product isn't ready yet. The brand discipline is editorial, not marketing.

The team

We publish under Capsule Wardrobe AI editorial team— a collective byline. The voice is consistent across the site by design. The alternative — fake personas with stock photos — is the menswear-blog antipattern we're trying to avoid.

References we lean on for editorial direction: Aimé Leon Dore, Drake's of London, Mr Porter, Permanent Style, COS, Stoffa, Brunello Cucinelli. Not fast-fashion, not influencer-driven, not algorithm-chasing.

How it works

Upload one photo of yourself. Add any garment — pick from the curated library or paste a URL from any retailer site. The AI renders you wearing it in ~10–25 seconds. Save the result, build a capsule from the pieces that work, and follow the links back to the retailer when you're ready to buy.

Photos are processed in-memory and discarded after generation. Nothing is stored. Nothing is added to a training set. See our privacy policy for the technical detail.
